Today begins the Tax Free Back to School Savings Holiday for residents in Florida. The holiday runs from today, Friday August 7th to Sunday, August 16th.
17 States actually observe this holiday with 13 of the states beginning today.
This is a great time to save money anywhere from 6-9% on items that you were planning on buying for back to school anyway. The biggest savings of course will be in the technology area on computers and laptops.
Be sure to check with the Department of Revenue in your state for guidelines on specific dates and products covered.
